As part of the AZADI KA AMRUTH MAHOLSAV, National Centre for Earth Science and Baby John Memorial Govt. College, Chavara jointly organized a coast clean up programme at Azheekkal Beach on 17/09/2022 with the help of local residents. 100 volunteers and programme officers participated in the programme. 65 kg of plastics and other wastes were collected and handed over to the Haritha karma sena, Azheekkal Panchayath.
